About Me

Hey! My name is Alana Domingo, and I'm a content marketer. Growing up with a wild imagination taught me a thing or two about creativity and its purpose in everyday life. No matter the task, whether it's blogging, email marketing, social media messaging, and more, I always strive to add a spark of artistry in everything I do.


Currently, I'm a copywriter at an English language arts publisher whose mission is to make life easier for teachers around the country. In my spare time, I manage Hakutaku, my blog dedicated to sharing information about Japanese manga.


When I'm not writing, you can usually find me playing The Sims 3 or hanging out with my three pet frogs, Peepo, Wart, and Richard Nixon.



I found Alana to be a very focused and detail-oriented person. While our industry was new to her, she was a fast learner and quick to dive into topics to create stronger, more robust content. We were limited in graphic design knowledge and Alana, knowing her way around design, was quick to step up and help out. This helped not only with the output of the department as a whole but also immensely in her personal contributions to a workforce readiness curriculum book created for the local school district through our organization.


Every manager has key employees they would happily recommend or tap for employment with future organizations. I am honored to say Alana is right at the top of my list, and I would happily recommend her to any organization that is looking for a talented content writer, team player, and all around good person.

a little easier for educators across the country. As a copywriter, it's my responsibility to:


  • Write concise, informative, and engaging copy to persuasively communicate creative ideas

  • Craft marketing content, including blog posts, social media content, and emails

  • Update and maintain web content, including product pages and content marketing pages

  • Optimize content for search engines and lead generation practices

  • Ensure that marketing materials comply with all brand and style guidelines

  • Manage ongoing copy improvement processes to increase sales and improve the customer experience
